The problem

Why cooking smells travel

Cooking smells don’t stay in the kitchen. They spread through the house and settle in curtains, cushions and clothes, so the smell of last night’s dinner greets you the next morning.

Ventilation does most of the work. An odor eliminator clears what’s left.

The US EPA explains that inadequate ventilation lets indoor pollutants build up, which is why the extractor fan is your first line of defence against cooking smells.

Quick answer

To get rid of cooking smells, run the extractor fan and open a window while cooking, take out the bin, then spray a few bursts of Absorber Spray near the stove or bin. Refresh curtains and cushions with Fabric Fresh.

Questions

Absorber Spray. It tackles the odor with a nanoparticle malodor absorber first, then adds fragrance. Breeze is the freshest scent in the range.

Spray into the air, not onto food, plates or kitchen surfaces. Avoid plastic, lacquered and laminated surfaces. Always read the label.

Air Perfume is made purely to scent a room. Absorber Spray is made to deal with real odors first.
